Contract with District 19
I pledge a contract with the people of District 19, my neighbors, and America...

Issues
National Debt & Unfunded Liabilities, Illegal Immigration, Energy Independence...
Well, I fought to become our congressman as best I could and my campaign was straight forward and honest. We gave it our best shot but the district is apparently not ready for an Independent candidate. A very special thank you to everyone that believed in me and in "People over Party" and donated time and money to my campaign, as well as all those that voted for No Party Affiliation!
I would like to congratulate Ted Deutch on a well run campaign and in winning the seat. I would also like to thank him and his staff for their politeness and running a positive campaign. I've spoken with Ted and I've told him that our district and I will be keeping a very sharp eye on him while he's in Washington and we agreed to get together soon. I certainly hope we do, for it shows that despite differences in political opinion, we can get along as neighbors and friends.
I'm seriously considering my options for November, and am not ruling out running for the now vacant State Senate seat (District 30). I have until April 30th to file for Congress and May for State Senate.
God bless you all and I will let you know as I decide.
Jim McCormick
